Doug and Teresa Johnson - Two Artists, One Vision

Doug and Teresa Johnson are two artists working side by side, creating Contemporary Geometric Cubism and Contemporary Impressionist paintings that explore contrast and balance. Doug’s work is rooted in motion, power, and geometric structure, while Teresa’s paintings focus on light, atmosphere, and memory.
Though stylistically distinct, their work is curated to complement one another, offering collectors a cohesive visual experience that balances energy with calm. Together, they present a modern two-artist dialogue built on intention, contrast, and shared sensibility.

About the Artist- Teresa Johnson

In a peaceful lakeside community in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, just north of Atlanta, Teresa Johnson creates paintings that feel alive with color, texture, and story. Working almost daily in her studio, she blends impressionism with touches of abstract art, crafting pieces that spark the imagination and invite viewers into a world of beauty and wonder.

Her love for art began in childhood under the guidance of her father, a talented artist who taught her to draw and paint. Over more than twenty years, Teresa’s skills have been shaped by her studies in Fashion Design and Interior Decorating at the University of Georgia, as well as training at the Milan Institute of Art. Travels throughout the U.S. and Caribbean fuel her plein air work, with each canvas reflecting the places and moments that inspire her. Her quote "Explore the world where imagination knows no bounds" inspires us all.

Known for her themed series—such as the “Four Queens” representing the seasons—Teresa’s art is colorful, imaginative, and always infused with meaning. Her recent work often incorporates shimmering gold accents, adding depth and richness to her unique blend of abstract and impressionistic styles. Each piece is not just a painting, but a story waiting to be discovered.
