Rocky Mountain Shadows. 18x24 Heavy Textured Oil Painting. Canvas Only. Free Shipping in USA. From my trip to Colorado. It was evening and the clouds covered the mountains like a crown. It was hard to tell where the mountains ended and the clouds began. The field was full of tall grasses and the shadow was covering the hills and the field. The tops of the grass were peeking through the shadows. I was surprised how the trees were not perfectly shaped like I think of the Christmas Trees we buy in Georgia. They were very imperfect and unique....kind of like all of us!. I used a purple color mixed with gray to make the shadows. I did not want the picture to have too much black. The paint is oil and very textured. I use a brush and a pallet knife. Canvas size is 18x24. Shipping to US only. About the Artists...
